Porcelain Onlays, Inlay & Veneers
Dr. Aver uses metal free onlays and inlays to restore the biting surface of molars, and metal free veneers are used to restore the surface of front teeth.
An Onlay and inlay, also referred to as a partial crown, is a custom filling made of BPA free composite resin or porcelain and is permanently cemented onto the tooth. Onlays and inlays are an alternative to crowns and a conservative option to restoring teeth affected by decay, trauma or with large defective fillings back to a more natural biting surface.
Veneers, also known as shells, are a thin layer of semi-transparent material permanently bonded to teeth. Dr. Aver uses veneers made of porcelain or BPA free composite resin. Veneers restore damage and improve appearance by correcting worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing, discoloration, and chips or cracks. This helps protect the surface of further damage and may eliminate the need for more extensive treatments.
